Historic Southern Home in the Heart of Fitzgerald

This southern home is located in the charming town of Fitzgerald, GA. Its in town location allows easy access to shops, dining, and events in Fitzgerald's historic downtown area. A spacious two story layout allows for a comfortable weekend visit or an extended stay. The large kitchen and dining area are perfect for gathering with friends and family. There is a fenced yard and the updated decor is tasteful and comfortable. Please contact me for extended stay requests. The space Our historic home was built in 1908. We have done our best to maintain the historic charm while incorporating modern conveniences. The front courtyard features a lovely fountain and leads to the front porch complete with porch swing. The large backyard is completely fenced. There is a one car garage and available parking for 2 additional vehicles on the side of the property. The main floor features a large foyer, living area, dining room with seating for 10, kitchen, full bath, and an additional sitting area with dedicated work space that leads to the screened-in porch. Upstairs you will find all of the four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a fully renovated ensuite bath. There is also a powder room located in the hallway. The bunk room has a triple bunk bed. Please note that most adults will find it quite difficult to access the top bunks. There is an additional twin bed in the open hallway nook. This is the perfect spot to read a book or take an afternoon nap. This home is tastefully decorated to show off its historic details and features many antiques. Artwork from local artist is showcased throughout the home. Many of the town's famous wild chickens visit the property on a regular basis. Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire home. The outdoor storage building and workshop are locked for owner use. Other things to note There is no cable TV in this home. Wifi will allow you to log in and access your own personal account for Netflix, Amazon Prime, or Hulu on the television in the living room. The television in the master bedroom is currently out of order.
