Rural Anderson 15 minutes from historic Anderson with many shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. We are 15 minutes from Anderson University & 20 minutes from Erskine College, in normal traffic. We are 3 miles from Broadway Lake, please use that when trying to figure distance. Traffic time varies with area events. Turn of the century refurbished home. Much charm & plenty of privacy, 10+ acres w/pecans trees, wild blackberries & a huge fig tree, acreage is not part of the common area. The space Large room with luxurious queen sleigh bed. In addition there is a day bed with trundle for a total of four guests. (The trundle bed is only offered for a fourth guest.) There is a small table with four chairs, mini-fridge, microwave, paper products, complimentary bottles of water and a coffee station on the landing. The room is on the second floor, your private full bath with shower is on the ground floor at the foot of the stairs. Guest access Guest enter through the main entrance of the house into a large foyer. There are two guests rooms upstairs. There is a dedicated bathroom for each guest room, one is on the ground floor, the other is on the second floor. The bathroom for this guest room is on the first floor, the guest room in on the second floor. It is a full shower with tub combination. Other things to note As we are rural we have a number outside cats but they usually shy away from guests. We have a rescue dog named Lucy. We keep the glass paneled kitchen door closed in order to keep Lucy out of the guest area of the house. There is a smart TV with cable access but you will have to log into your own subscriptions. We ask that our guests stay to the front of the house. We have 10 plus unkept acers with many natural and un-natural hazards. We also have several out buildings with personal property in them. We are happy to give any guest a guided tour, you just have to ask us. Thanks for respecting our privacy.
