The Hippy Heaven - Master Bedroom
The Hippy Heaven - Master Bedroom
Description
The famous Hippy Heaven, is an AirBnb landmark in Redfern. This 180 year old, heritage listed, Victorian house is a piece of historical Sydney. Just 10 minutes walk from the city, in the heart of trendy Redfern. A perfect place to chill and explore. A garden you'll never want to leave, good vibes and great conversation ~:-) The space The room is spacious and has a high ceiling. It comes with a double bed, writing table and clothes hanger. There’s also a locking door to your room (should you want to) and virtually private access being that it’s the first room on the left after you enter. Please Note: This is a shared house. There are 2 rooms on AirBnb. The kitchen and bathroom are shared. The house is cleaned once a week and the kitchen and bathroom are tidied throughout the week BUT they will not be spotless. If you need it spotless I suggest you book a private place just for yourself. Guest access You have access to the shared lounge room, wireless internet (ADSL+), large kitchen, laundry and a great bathroom (best shower ever!) and of course the backyard. There are 2 rooms in the house that are on AirBnb so you'll also get a chance to interact with fellow travellers. Many people from all over the world have become friends in this house. It's a place to really meet and learn about other people and cultures. The backyard is beautiful. In fact this next paragraph is dedicated to what’s growing in our garden as of right now: rosemary, parsley, coriander, ginger, bush beans, bertolli beans, climbing beans, comfrey, apple, avocado, fig, grapevine, pomegranate, kumquat, several types of mint, broccoli, amaranth, chia, kale, basil, frangipani, nasturtium, cumin, gardenia, lemon and lime, wolf berry, and a gum nut tree, which when it’s in full bloom will give you a front row seat to hundreds of rainbow lorikeets. And growing out on the front porch is a jasmine bush, coffee tree and a ‘Fruit of the Andes’ Vine. During your stay You’d be living with a writer/philosopher by the name of Sam *(that's me :-) I was born in Sydney and have spent my whole life here so feel free to ask for any information on the beautiful sights and stuff to do. I love cooking and have my own style that involves a fusion of everything I know plus a fair amount of freestyle experimentation. And I love to talk. In fact I'm happy to have a conversation on pretty much any topic. I’m also an avid permaculturist. So if you have any questions on gardening or sustainable design I can help there too. Finally, this is my home. I live here. And you are more than welcome. But please read through my listing and understand who I am and what my home is like. If it doesn't fit in with your desire then I totally understand and you should by all means book a different sort of place. However, I love my home and I have no doubt, if you are of a similar disposition, you will love it too. Other things to note If you need to check-in before or after 10am that's no problem but please let me know in the booking request so I can guarantee I'll be around to let you in.
