Farmhouse retreat in the Haut Languedoc

La Fumade is a large renovated French farmhouse with pool in the hills of southern France. The garden borders a year-round stream and the house is surrounded by the protected forest, orchards of the Haut Languedoc Natural Park. La Fumade has an official four-star rating from the national tourist board, and has the official “accueil velo” rating for cycling tourists! La Fumade received four stars from the Ministry of Tourism, and also the brand "bike welcome" for cyclists! The space The large stone house can sleep ten people, so it is perfect for big families, extended family get-togethers, or multiple families. With two separate living areas, there is plenty of room for everyone. Three bedrooms downstairs share a large family bathroom. One room has two single beds, one has a super king bed, and one has a traditional, king-sized bed. The first floor features two large master suites, each with a WC and shower. One suite has a double bed, and the other has a super king bed. The two suites are connected by a large salon, which itself has a sofa bed and two large armchairs--a perfect room for reading or playing games. Guest access The garden, pool, and jacuzzi are for your exclusive use, and all you see is nature when you look up to the surrounding mountains. The garden features a breakfast terrace with a table and chairs, and a pergola with a full-sized table for family meals. The private outdoor pool blends into the natural landscape of the garden, with room to relax and cool off on a hot summer's day. In the sheltered courtyard on the side of the house, a secluded and private jacuzzi tub will soothe and relax your muscles as you look out onto the mountains or enjoy the starlit sky.
