The Homeowner’s association has been extensively cleaning, disinfecting, and wiping down surfaces in common areas and amenities. Each owner is responsible for their own private condominiums. Common areas and amenities. The fitness center is closed again until further notice. Pools and spas are all open, subject to strict adherence to social distancing (see Pool Rules next page). The Association may close any of the pools if guests are not following proper social distancing or are over occupied. Social distancing. For the safety of others, you are expected to practice “social distancing,” which is the idea of maintaining a roughly 6-foot distance between other people not staying in your unit. You are expected to wear a face mask outside whenever you cannot maintain a 6-foot distance from other guests. If you get sick. All persons who exhibit symptoms should stay home and avoid public spaces unless you need medical care. You also should separate yourself from other people and pets in your home. Please notify the Guard Gate if you exhibit symptoms. It is incumbent upon Guests to take this situation seriously and do their part to minimize the spread of this deadly disease. Guests who do not respect the safety of others will be asked to leave with no refund. SPECIAL COVID-19 POOL RULES Pool Hours 9am – 8pm • Six feet separation should be observed at all times (except guests of the same household), and swimmers should limit themselves to lanes • Maximum capacity will be 10 persons at each satellite pool area, or 40 at the main pool • Lounge chairs, towels, and/or tables should be properly spaced six feet apart (except guests of the same household) • Residents should wear a cloth face covering when traveling through common areas of the property where it may not be possible to maintain physical six feet distancing, including to and from the pool, barbeque area and shared restrooms • Residents should carry their own hand sanitizer as community stations are not available • Each Spa is limited to 1 person or household at a time • No bottles or glass allowed • Please limit your pool time to 2 hours when at full capacity • If the pool you looking to enter is already at capacity, try the next pool (there are 12) • Pools are reserved for guests staying at Legacy – no day visitors will be allowed • Towels may not be used to “reserve” chairs and may be removed by security • No pets are allowed in pool areas (and all pets must be on leashes when outside) • You may be asked to leave the pool area by security if you are not observing proper separation of six feet • No horseplay or rude behavior to staff or other guests will be permitted. If your behavior is posing a potential threat to the enjoyment, or health and safety of others, you or the owner of your unit may be fined for a violation of the nuisance rules and fined between $100 - $500, and/or asked to leave the property, without refund WEEKEND AND HOLIDAY RULES: 1. Signups are required. Signups will be done at the clubhouse 2. The sign-up desk is located in the clubhouse. The entrance is off the parking lot on Legacy Drive, look for the “POOL SIGN UPS” Banner 3. The sign-up desk will be open Saturdays from 7AM – 3PM 4. Only one person per unit is allowed in line 5. Face Masks are required 6. Please review the map provided at the gate, including locations of pools 7. Renters must bring their parking pass to verify the legacy address 8. Owners must provide an ID to verify their name 9. The City of La Quinta and Legacy Villas both have occupancy limits per unit. You will be able to sign up for pool times up to the maximum occupancy allowed for your unit: 2 Bedroom Unit: Max 6 people 3 Bedroom Unit: Max 8 people 10. No Day Guests allowed – only registered renters 11. One time slot and one pool per unit per day 12. Once signed up, you will be provided wristbands. You are required to wear wristbands at the pool during your allotted slot 13. Time slots will be held for 30 Minutes; after which you will forfeit your time slot
