Description
The original Telephone Exchange is located in the picturesque village of Bishop Monkton. Now converted to a cosy holiday cottage situated between Harrogate and the cathedral city of Ripon. Nearby is Fountains Abbey, Lightwater Valley and Newby Hall. Blessed with open fields on 3 sides, which includes a lovely spot to sit outside and unwind or watch the sunsets. When you are ready, there is a wood burner inside. The inside is open plan and surprisingly spacious with a well equipped kitchen The space The Bedroom has views over open fields with a door that opens to a delightful little seating area under a tree where you could eat breakfast al fresco. The en-suite has a jacuzzi type bath with a shower overhead. The well equipped (including a dishwasher) kitchen shares an open plan space with the front room which houses a log burner. Double doors open to yet another view of open fields. We provide a bucket of complimentary firewood, kindling and firelighters. If you would like additional buckets, they are available at £10 or £20 a bucket. Guest access You will be able to enjoy our gorgeous little cottage in peace. There are no neighbours to overlook the property. It's an idyllic hideaway. Other things to note Hi-speed wi-fi! There is free parking for two cars. The village is a 400m walk and has a small shop and a pub serving food (The Mason's Arms). The 36 bus, which connects to Leeds, Ripon and Harrogate very 15 minutes, is 3/4 mile away.
