The space This is a very spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath top floor apartment served by two elevators with views of Clerigos tower, Sé and S Bento train station located right in the heart of the city of Porto. This site is part of the UNESCO World Heritage. What makes it so unique is the fact that these buildings were remodeled maintaining all the traditional facades and details (as it is World Heritage Site) while the interiors were updated and modern amenities were added such as washer and dryer, elevators, heated floors, cable and Wi-Fi. This apartment will fit VERY comfortably 4 people, 2 people per bedroom. The apartment includes: - a spacious LIVING AREA ( dinning area plus living area) with a vaulted ceiling and views of the Clérigos Tower; -fully equipped KITCHEN equipped with fridge, freezer, stove, stovetop, dishwasher, microwave, espresso machine, coffee machine, water kettle, toaster and all the utensils you may need to cook and serve a meal. Enjoy the traditional tile flooring. - LAUNDRY area equipped with Washer and dryer (inside the unit) -1 BEDROOM SUITE (queen size bed) with tall vaulted ceiling, a full bathroom, plenty of closet space, a small desk and private balcony opening to the Cardosas square from where you can see S. Bento Train Station towers. - 1 BEDROOM (queen size bed) with tall vaulted ceiling, plenty of closet space and a balcony opening to the Cardosas Square. (also has a crib). - Full bathroom right outside the non-suite bathroom. NOTE: the two full Bathrooms have tile flooring and are equipped with a full bathtub and shower head, bidet, sink and toilet. Unless indicated floors are hardwood. All floors are heated and temperature controlled. LOTS of closet space so you can fill at home. We have a washer and dryer in the unit, in a dedicated laundry area. As well as iron board and iron. Please note that there are some cabinets that are locked (you can read a label saying private). We keep our personal belongings there when we visit. While we don’t store anything valuable there it feels violating when someone goes through our personal items so we like kindly ask you to not try accessing these cabinets. Because we had a guest doing that in the past and breaking the lock of the cabinet we decided that if our private space was not respected we would keep the entire security deposit. Other things to note This building complex is one of the few renovated buildings that has elevators. That comes handy when you have to go up 100 steps ( yes, we have counted it!)
