Little Havana is small tranquil escape we have created for our guests on our property. The courtyard is private and for guests only. Pull-up a barstool and sit at the cafe style bar counter to enjoy your morning coffee or sundowner. The firepit and braai will not only keep you warm on the outside but also the inside. Inside Havana you will find everything to make your stay comfortable & convenient. Conveniently located from the airport, Cape Town, wine route and other local adventures The space * Please note we have a second listing La Petite Flatlette that is also available for booking - speak to us * This space is great for couples, single travelers and business men or woman. The courtyard provides a private and tranquil space, equipped with a café style bar counter and barstools. Additional outdoor furniture will provide ample seating for you to enjoy! Play a few games of noughts + crosses whilst the fire is cracking away in the firepit. Please note that this area are for guest only, no visitors will be allowed. Inside a comfortable L-shaped lounge provides for those lazy TV evenings. high speed uncapped internet together with media box and Netflix account is provided. The lounger doubles as a single bed - please enquire for bedding and additional pillows. Alongside the lounge area a quirky kitchen will greet you. The kitchen is colourful and caters for your cooking needs, with a view to the courtyard and birds singing all day. The double bed will provide you with a place to rest mind, body and soul. Watching TV from the bed with easy. The large shower and bathroom is access through the sliding door, here a long day of adventure can be washed away, ready for the next adventure. Clothes and other items can be stored in the walk in cupboard and closes with a barn door with a mirror- ample hanging, flat packing and shoe storage is provided. Guests not familiar with open fire cooking must please ask the host to assist. Guest access Designated parking area is allocated to Little Havana. You access the courtyard from the gravel pathway, through the security gate. Once through the gate you will be in your private courtyard. The courtyard and barbeque/braai are are for guest use only, no visitors allowed. To get inside Little Havana you open the second security gate and door. Other things to note Firepit - we love open fires and sure our guests will as well. Please note your safety is of utmost importance to us. If you do no have experience with open fires, we will gladly assist. The courtyard and braai area are for quest use only, no visitors will be allowed. Experienced open fire makers :-) please do not overfill the drum with wood kindly try to avoid high flames and only use wood, charcoal fire starters no other flammable material. Please keep the grid over the open fire at all times, only open to add more or to adjust wood layer. Very important - douse all flames, coals or other flammable material in the pit once done.
