Enjoy stunning sunsets from your private studio bungalow nestled at the base of Mount Fanny in historic Cove, Oregon. Located 10 miles from Union, Oregon and 15 miles from La Grande, Oregon on the Cove-Union Farm Route. We are near mountain biking and hiking & 30 minutes from Moss Spring Trail head (Minam Lodge). We are an hour away from Anthony Lakes and 90 minutes from Jospeh. The studio will sleep up to 4 people if a second bed is requested. Ask about teacher discount. Gay friendly The space The bungalow has a private entrance. The unit sleeps up to 4 and has access to a deck with stunning views. Sit and have a drink as the sun sets, watch deer graze below or grill up your favorite foods. Pets are welcome but we are a working farm and require dogs to be on leash at all times when outside the apartment. Dogs are not allowed in or near the barn. Guest access Access to laundry can be arranged. Fee of $5 per load of laundry. Other things to note We are a working farm. As such we have animals free ranging on our property. We sell farm products that include eggs, goats milk, goats milk soap, jams and jellies, etc. We also make custom made goats milk ice cream for sale but require 48 hour notice to make the product. We also offer a variety of home baked good that are seasonal. If you are interested in baked good please reach out to us regarding options 24 hours prior to arrival. We currently are offering two breakfast starter kits to choose from. Each are $15. The first option includes 6 eggs, a jar of jelly or jam, and 4 homemade buttermilk biscuits. The second option is 8 ounces of granola and a pint of goats milk. The breakfast starter kit requires 24 hour notice. Prices for the farm products are posted in the apartment or can be provided in advance. If you are travelling to the Minam Lodge we are 30 minutes from the trail head and if you need transportation you can check with us on a quote to get you to the trail head from our apartment, the La Grande airport or a local motel.
