Shop Cottage, peaceful village, scenic location

Shop cottage is spacious, full of character and history, in the Wye valley, central Goodrich. The perfect base for exploring. There are 3 pubs, the river Wye and Goodrich Castle on the doorstep. Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth are a few miles either side of us. The Forest of Dean and Symonds Yat are close by. Immaculately clean, well equipped kitchen, and spacious and comfortable living spaces. Included is Wifi, electricity, travel size toiletries, cleaning products, toilet rolls and roadside parking. The space Recently refurbished, Shop Cottage is characterful and spacious, comfortable and generously equipped. A converted village shop and so there is an element of quirkiness and individuality in the layout and furnishings. Features such as original stone flooring, Mira shower, dishwasher and freesat tv will all make your stay enjoyable. Electricity, parking, bedding, towels, toilet rolls and kitchen cleaning products are all included free of charge. The cottage sleeps 5/6 adults comfortably in the double and twin bedrooms, and sofa bed in the lounge. In addition there is an additional single bed that can be made up in the twin room, and we also have a travel cot available. There is a small outdoor area, with bench seating. We have a storage container available for guests wishing to store bikes or canoes. Roadside parking is free of charge and just a few metres from the cottage. We have an EV charger for guests' use should you need it. This needs to be requested and is charged at 30p per unit used. We provide brochures, maps and plenty of information on things to do in the area. Guest access The entire cottage is included Other things to note The sofa bed and third single bed will need to be made up especially and so we will need to know if you require the additional beds when you book. The additional single is slightly smaller than normal single bed and is suitable up to approximately age 14. 1 small/medium size dogs are permitted downstairs only please
