Welcome to Les Demoiselles in Versailles! An exceptional residence where the famous Impressionist painter Alfred Sisley lived. Marly le Roi is a town located 15 km from the entrance to Paris, whose past is intertwined with that of the kings of France. Breakfast and meal delivery on request: Caterer: Agnès Sarde. A private guide service is possible with: Édouard Bergevin (for an additional fee and prior reservation 72 hours before). The space An exceptional residence where the famous Impressionist painter Alfred Sisley lived. He produced many paintings there that are now world-famous. The Anglo-Norman style house has a refined architecture typical of romantic 19th century resorts. It combines the charm of the old and the comfort of modern homes. It consists of 3 floors and a basement: - Ground floor: - a large vestibule overlooking an imposing stairwell open to two monumental windows. - a large cloakroom with guest toilet and hand wash. - a large kitchen, which harmoniously combines the modern comfort of the facilities, noble materials such as quartz and oak while making a subtle nod to the old style of the house. It gives direct access to a wooden terrace where there is an outdoor dining area (8/10 people) with a gas BBQ. - a dining area that can accommodate 4/5 people in a friendly atmosphere. The living room bathed in light, decorated in a "modern art gallery" style, overlooks the south-facing terrace, ideal for afternoon lounging. In a row, you will find the dining room, in a more "cabinet of curiosity" style, reminiscent of the charm of revisited country houses. The table can accommodate 10 to 12 guests. (up to 19 on request) In the extension is the winter garden and its 8 glass arcades, deliciously romantic for afternoon tea, enjoying the sunshine. - The 1st floor: 3 large bedrooms each with a bathroom/shower room with individual toilet and a laundry room. - The Renoir room has a double bed, a large desk and a shower room with toilet, a triple exposure and a magnificent view of the garden. - The Pissaro room enjoys a beautiful view of the Parc de Marly and has a single bed for children or young people, a large bathroom with a double sink as well as a piano and a TV. The separate toilet is on the landing. - The Monet room has a double bed, a large desk and a sideboard, and adjoins a large bathroom with shower, sink, bathtub and toilet. - On the landing: a laundry room with washer and dryer, separate toilet. - On the 2nd floor: 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: - The Degas room offers a double bed and a single bed, a TV, a desk and a sofa bed. The game room has two single beds like a small dormitory and a large game table. - On the landing: a shower room, single sink and toilet. There is also another separate toilet. - A large suite, the Sisley suite, with double bed, dressing room, TV, connecting bathroom and two outdoor balconies to enjoy an exceptional view of the Park. Each floor has its own WIFI terminal in order to be perfectly connected to the Internet - The basement: A back kitchen with a fridge-freezer, individual toilet. A movie theater with a convertible corner sofa, an extra large TV, a PS4 game console. A gym with treadmill, indoor bike, infrared sauna for 2 people, walk-in shower and heated towel rail. Marly is a town of 16,000 inhabitants where you will find everything you need on a daily basis (food market, cinema, municipal swimming pool, pony club, transport, shopping malls, supermarkets...) 10 minutes by car from Versailles where, apart from visits to the Château and the Park, you can also rent bicycles for walks in the park, attend pyrotechnic shows, "musical waters" with fountains, sounds and historical lights. You will also find many shops (ready-to-wear brands, renowned food shops, antique shops, etc.) but also theaters, luxury hotels and spas (Trianon Palace), museums, renowned equestrian shows. 10 minutes by car from the house, you will also find the large shopping center of Parly 2 where there are many French and international brands The neighboring town of Marly le Roi, Saint-Germain-en-Laye is commonly called "Little Paris". Its charm, its many restaurants, its pedestrian streets and its shops, including the fruit and vegetable market, its cultural dynamism make it a very pleasant town to discover. Its castle was part of the residences of Francis I or Catherine de Medici. All around the house are forests in which it is possible to walk or cycle. Finally, the nearby village of Port-Marly, immortalized by the Impressionists, is home to the famous Bords de Seine, with nautical activities and boat cruises. You are also at the gates of the magnificent Chevreuse Valley, famous for its exceptional villages and many castles. Less than 2 hours by car or train, is the famous seaside resort of Deauville, Normandy. Getting around: A few minutes' walk from the train station, the train is direct to Paris Saint Lazare station (30 minutes). Outside office hours, the 2 highways near the house will take you to Paris in 20 to 30 minutes. In addition, you will be 10 minutes by car from the Château de Versailles (accessible by bus) and 10 minutes also from the charming town of Saint-Germain en Laye (accessible by bus).
