The property is named Gonsalves Mansion, and is best known for hosting Jazz events over the years. The Mansion is almost 100 years old and built during Portugese rule in Goa with over 22 rooms in the mansion. Currently resided by the owner, Mr. Armando Gonsalves, his wife Shaeen and two toddlers Liam and Stellan along with their househelp. Mr. Gonsalves has named the suites after his kids Nihal, Zenisha, Liam and Stellan. The space This suite is named 'Liam', and it has the old world charm to it, and yet it is equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. It has furniture with jute weaving, which is very much part of the heritage of Goa. Anyone looking to experience the heritage and culture of Goa, is going to love this space! Guest access Additionally, guests can access the garden and a courtyard. The suite has two cute balconies, where guests can sit on an easy chair and enjoy the serene vibe of this property. Other things to note The residents of this home are cultured people who love Goa, and hold the Heritage, culture, art, music and food of Goa close to their hearts. The hosts invite you to be a part of their home during your stay by giving you the experience of living the Goan way of life! Check In – Check Out – Check in time is 1Pm and Check out time is 11am. Early check may be possible as per availability. In the unlikely event that we somehow manage to give you early check in or late check out by a margin of 2 hours, you will have to pay a fee of Rs. 2,000/-, since our staff has to put extraordinary effort in a very short span of time to turn the apartment around. Also, if check in is between 11p.m. and 2 a.m. a fee of Rs. 1000/- , 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. fee of Rs. 2,000/-, 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. Rs. 1,000/- will have to be paid directly to our staff who will usher you in. Our staff work very hard, and this is just a way to keep them motivated to serve you at their best. LINENS & TOWELS – Bed linens & Towels are changed every fourth day from the date of check in. There is a washing machine in the apartment. The bed linen and towels can be changed on request in between & shall be chargeable @ 450/- per room (one bed sheet, two pillow covers, two hand towels and two towels) For bookings over 7 days, we charge extra for electricity : 5 rupees per unit as per consumption. 19. India is a power deficient Country, and so, we request you to be mindful of the power and water usage during your stay with us. Please switch off all the electrical appliances such as geysers, air conditioners, fans and lights whenever you leave the apartment. Our staff will do their duty and switch off these electrical items ( other than the fridge) incase you fail to do so, and this will be done with your implied permission. Additionally, if you need your apartment to be cooled on your return from outside, please let our staff know 30 mins before your arrival, and they will do the needful. 20. Housekeeping will be done from 9am to 11am and 3pm to 5 pm everyday. Please keep in touch with our housekeeping manager to book your preferred time ( which should be within the time provided above).
