Enjoy staying in a converted grainery on a working farm with spectacular views, sunrises, sunsets and fireflies playing in the hayfield throughout the summer. The space The Mill House is a converted one hundred year old grainery that I have put a lot of love into making it a comfy quaint cabin so near Lewisburg (five minutes) and all the great outdoor activities we have to offer. The view from your bed is one of the most beautiful hay meadows in the county, talk about serene! Enjoy watching fireflies in my front meadows with your favorite beverage and reconnect with your inner peace. The theme for this cabin is Holiday House Not...expect an eclectic blend of my off season holiday decor adding a splash of humor. Yummie Ralph Lauren bedding and hypoallergenic pillows will surround you for a comfortable night's rest! As well, I have added top down-bottom up black out blinds in the bedroom so rest is at a premium! Guest access Along with this cozy cabin is a front porch to swing and watch fireflies. There is a small "courtyard " behind the cabin to enjoy mountain views and cattle watching. Other things to note I want to emphasize that the cabin is a 100-ish year old converted grainery with cattle pasture and hay meadows surrounding. Yes, by the very nature of these surroundings, there are more flies, bees, and bugs in general. I can honestly say I am in this cabin daily when there are no guests. I utilize it for drinks of water and a place to eat lunch when I am on this side of my property. I may see one or two flies in the cabin and a dead bee. There is simply no way to hermatically seal a dwelling on a farm. I spray regularly but this will not ensure a zero bug population. They simply are a part of farm life. If the expectation is otherwise, the cabin experience is not for you. As well, I do have commercial poultry barns on this farm. I will not belabor anyone's political feelings with the care and cleanliness I know these birds are raised. If this is a problem for you again, my cabin is not for you.
