Our adorable 200-year-old adobe home is in Santa Fe's Guadalupe Historic District next to the Railyard. Stay in this cozy, solar-powered, private suite with exclusive use of in-floor chlorinated soaking tub. (Sorry, no children or dogs.) We adhere to hospitality industry standards for cleaning/sanitizing, including UV-C light & CDC recommended products/practices. We follow health/safety guidelines and laws from the State of NM & City of Santa Fe and expect the same of guests. All are welcome! La Casa Mágica was built in several stages by generations of New Mexicans. The oldest part of the house, including the guest suite, is around 200 years old. The ceiling vigas were hand cut, evidence of which is hidden in the pocket roof. The walls are thick, double-adobe brick with hand-plastered finish. The one-of-a kind heated in-floor spa tub rounds out the unique experience of this relaxing space that is close in to the vibrant Plaza and Railyard arts and shopping district, yet with a secluded feel. There is separate temperature control in the suite. ***WE USE PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS & SANITIZING PRODUCTS & PRACTICES in the spa & bathroom area, on provided slippers and surfaces throughout our space. We also offer guests the use of cleaning/sanitizing products, including hand sanitizer, to continue a clean environment during their stay without the need for anyone to enter the space. Guests have direct access to the suite through the front enclosed, key-locked porch living area with couch, dining table/stools, coffee/tea, microwave, fridge, plates, bowls, cups and eating utensils. There is also an outdoor sitting area. Bedroom has separate lock with keypad entry, queen temperpedic bed, comfy chair, and reading lamps, and usb device charging ports. Large spa room/bathroom features soaking tub, open shower, and double sinks. Park in the dedicated off-street space directly in front of the entry. Enjoy complete privacy with our easy check in and check-out system. Check in time is 4:00 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m. After booking with us, you will be sent instructions that allow you to check-in at your desired time. We are highly considerate and responsive hosts who you never have to see unless you want to. For your comfort and enjoyment, we offer bath and body products from Ten Thousand Waves and Aveda, sanitized spa slippers, cotton robes, bamboo/cotton towels, super-soft sheets, and a variety of pillows on the queen-size Tempurpedic bed, Keurig coffee and tea, cups, dishes, and silverware, fridge and microwave. Our dogs Mason and Birdie live on the property but are not allowed in the suite. We do not allow guests to bring their dogs. A charge may apply for any damage to the suite or outdoor space. OUR PROPERTY IS REGISTERED WITH THE CITY OF SANTA FE as a short-term rental, which means that we pay for an annual business license and additional taxes. Our home has PASSED THE REQUIRED inspections related to water usage and fire safety.
