Townhouse in Perpignan
Description
1 private bedroom upstairs in a small townhouse, tiny house type, typical local architecture of the 1930s that can accommodate 1 person, with 90 cm bed with private adjoining bathroom and balcony on the street side. Easy and free street parking. All attractions, leisure and transport sites are within a 20-minute walk. The Palace of the Kings of Mallorca is nearby. The space 4 small but functional rooms. Old original vacation home. Reeds on the ceiling of the living room, frames and doors all in pickled wood, period cement tiles preserved. Coated and whitewashed walls. Atypical accommodation. The countryside in the city. Guest access I allow access to the kitchen and garden but in summer you have to protect yourself from mosquitoes with sprays. The living room is cluttered because it's dedicated to my activity, so it's not very functional. The proposed room has its own private bathroom with towels, a wardrobe for basic storage and hangers. Teapot, teas and cup available on request in the room. Possibility to prepare your meal in the kitchen; a supermarket is a 2-minute walk away. The refrigerator can be shared. Microwave in the kitchen. During your stay Yes, of course, but the room has its own private bathroom and a small balcony. We can share the garden, the kitchen, I leave a free space in the refrigerator if desired. Tips for concerts and good small restaurants, or places to hunt for antiques. Other things to note Some parts of the house are unfinished (corridors and finishes) so the walls are not perfect and the doors are old, the house is cluttered with curiosities of all kinds, old and antique and therefore atypical because I restore and transform lamps so if you like perfection, minimalism, please do not come to my house, because you may encounter a peacock and a pink flamingo watched by a crocodile in your room... but if you like to live indoors and be surrounded by plants and things of all kinds, this is the place for you. Also, the windows and shutters are wooden and original, like almost the whole house which dates from the 1930s, so the street-side room can be a little noisy sometimes but for now everyone has slept well. Loulou, the house cat, is discreet and shy. He's in his tree or on the terrace most of the time, and if you don't close your bedroom door, he might squat on your bed.
