Description

Stargazy Shepherd's Hut sits in Carbis Bay approximately halfway between the beautiful beaches of St Ives and Carbis Bay. It offers immediate access to the coastal path. Stargazy offers a glamping experience, close to amenities. It houses a compact bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The kitchen area offers a convection hob for your convenience. There is a double bed and underfloor heating to keep you cosy in the colder months. Stargazy comes with private parking and a small garden area. The space Stagazy is accessible via car or train. You can travel into Cornwall using the train to Penzance, transfer to the Scenic Railway at St Erth and this will transport you to Carbis Bay. This railway was featured recently on 'The most Scenic Railway Journeys'. Stargazy offers a compact space with self catering facilities. It is close to some of the loveliest restaurants and bars and only 20 minutes drive from Penzance and Marazion, where you can find St Michael's Mount. Porthmeor Beach in St Ives offers excellent surfing as does Hayle beach. Hayle estuary is a 15 minute drive and offers the opportunity to see a wide range of birds and wildlife. My favourite thing to do in St Ives is to sit with a glass of wine and watch the Gannets diving from the Pedn Olva Hotel. We think that Stargazy offers comfortable accommodation in a excellent setting. Guest access There is a private parking space next the Stargazy and a small garden laid with stone. There is a granite step down to the property. A small shed is available for your private use. Other things to note The area surrounding Stargazy is hilly, please be aware that walks to the beaches are downhill. Returning to the property is up hill and requires a level of fitness. Regular buses run from St Ives to Carbis Bay every few minutes and a taxi is approximately £5.00, if you should wish to use these facilities. Parking is available in St Ives, however this does get busy in the summer months.
