Les Voûtes du Haut-Allier offers a charming cottage, a quality residence, refurbished, all modern comforts in an authentic setting, exposed stone, neat decor, ultra quiet environment, nature and authenticity but close to Lavoute-Chilhac, a very touristy and endearing site, benefiting from multiple cultural, sports and festive attractions. The space The gîte is located in a charming little village, Le Chambon, in the municipality of Blassac. The village is very quiet, and you will enjoy maximum sunshine. As for contact with nature, the Allier River flows below the house, about 500 m away.Fishing, swimming, hiking, and relaxation are on the agenda... Our haven of peace is located 3 minutes from Lavoûte-Chilhac, a village classified as the most beautiful village in France. Characterful village, authentic and charming. Lavoûte-Chilhac is very lively in season. All year round you will find local shops and services, bakery, butcher shop, small supermarket, post office, bank, restaurants, bars... The meanders of the Allier in the middle of the village, the priory, and even the 15th-century bridge are must-sees that you won't want to miss. The cottage consists of a beautiful furnished terrace accessible from the outside, 2 bedrooms, a large attic dormitory, 1 large living/dining room equipped with a giant screen. You will also have access to a kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 shared toilet, 1 lounge/reading area On the ground floor: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 shared toilet, 1 laundry room, a summer kitchen and finally 1000 m² of land with a view of the Allier valley and the famous hammock. The gîte has many indoor and outdoor games, a Weber barbecue. The gîte has a Wi-Fi network. Depending on the operators, the mobile phone network may vary. We will take care of the final cleaning, which is subject to a mandatory fee. We provide you with a hammock, children's games, board games, a dartboard, a badminton set... Also available for your use are a washing machine, dishwasher, clothes drying rack, ironing board, and iron. We provide you with duvets and their covers as well as pillows and their pillowcases. When you arrive, the beds are made. PLEASE NOTE: Towels are not provided unless you select the towel option for €5 per person per stay in the rental agreement you sign. As for the “kitchen,” everything you need is provided: cutlery, plates, dishes, oven, microwave, food processor, Senseo coffee maker, raclette machine, fondue machine, and, of course, the essential barbecue! The region offers a wide variety of activities: hiking, heritage, culture, canoeing, kayaking, rafting, fishing, mountain biking, motor sports, meditation... there is something for everyone. Just 15 minutes south of the cottage, you will discover the charming town of Langeac, where you will find several supermarkets as well as all the shops you might need. Don't miss its renowned weekly market every Thursday. To the north, 20 minutes away, the town of Brioude will offer you even more choices in terms of shops or services. The Basilica of Saint Julian is beautiful there. Less than 40 km away, you can discover the village of Prades, the Abbey of Lavaudieu, the Château de Chavaniac-Lafayette, Le Puy-en-Velay, the Garabit Viaduct, Lake Grandval, the Margeride Plateau, and more.
