In the evening, grill your dinner while enjoying breathtaking sunsets. Font yard is only a stone's throw away from the river and a few steps down to the shoreline and dock. Spot eagles, blue herons, and other wildlife. It's a peaceful environment, perfect for your getaway. The public boat launch is 2 blocks away. Private parking available for trailers. The space Located just 8 miles South of LaCrosse on the Great River Road- Hwy 35, it is a scenic trip worth every mile. Visit local wineries, take in fresh fish fry at local establishments on Friday night, and spend time fishing, hiking, and exploring the area. Just South is Genoa Lock and Dam; To the North is Grand Dad's Bluff Scenic Overlook, Oktoberfest Grounds, and more; To the East is Coon Creek, known for trout fishing; Other attractions include Syttende Mai Festivals, Norskedahlen Heritage Preserve, and Snowflake Ski Jump. The area is filled with year-round local festivals, golf courses, snowmobile trails, and year-round fishing contests! Our home is a recently remodeled manufactured home in a small estate community with a private seasonal campground. We have an outdoor seating area for you to overlook the Mississippi River. It is very private and quaint. It is a short walk to the local convenience store, restaurant, pub, and bank. Please note: There are three short exterior steps into house enclosed porch with a handrail and a small half-step between the porch into the kitchen (from outdoor carpet to linoleum) Guest access Easy access to fishing from shore; Firepit area; Several lawn chairs for your use; Propane gas grill for guest use; Easy walk to local restaurants, convenience store, ice cream shop, and gas station; You will have access to the entire mobile home, the front, and the smaller side yard. There is small, private camping and firepit area in the front you may utilize to fish from shore and enjoy a campfire. Very few smaller children in the area. Our private dock is available for rent at an additional fee. Other things to note Plenty of accessory parking for your boat trailer or extra vehicle. There are nearby train tracks with trains that go through several times a day. Dock parking may be possible if reserved with owners in advance.
