A covered front porch, a large patio and boardwalk in the back yard are available for your relaxation as weather permits. It is much easier and less costly to extend your reservation than to request a refund. We prefer guests to be post grad and beyond. The hosts are available as much or as little as you desire. We want your stay to be memorable and we will do whatever it takes to make that happen. Our home is in an older subdivision on the west side of town just one mile from Purdue. Our neighbors are either professional or self-employed. Many are affiliated with Purdue either actively or retired. City Bus provides express service to our neighborhood all day and evening during the Purdue school year. Other City Bus services are available nearby. Uber, Lyft and taxi service also available. As our home is on a state highway we do not recommend walking to and from the Purdue campus. The host will be happy to provide occasional car service to and from the Purdue campus at no additional charge as parking on or near campus is at a premium. If you are traveling by bus, shuttle or train we can also meet you at the West Lafayete terminal and return you there upon your departure. Lafayette Limo, Reindeer Shuttle and Express Air Coach (they each have web sites) provide bus and limo service to our neighborhood to and from the Indianapolis and Chicago airports. Amtrak provides service to Lafayette from Chicago and Indianapolis three days a week. This room is for one guest only for long term occupancy of at least one month. However, since this will be your home away from home it is completely acceptable to have overnight guests for a short term. We will discuss any additional charge, if any.
