Enchanting Riverfront Cottage

Cottage was renovated in 2019 including new painting, roof, flooring, bathrooms and kitchen. Cottage is on the Thornapple River with access to the Thornapple Lake. Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, boating, fishing and all river/lake activities. Relax by a bonfire enjoying s'mores and time with family and friends. Please note there is no wi fi or cable TV. The space This is a great cottage located in Hastings, MI for families, an intimate getaway, or larger groups. The cottage includes 4 bedrooms (Master on main floor with queen bed and closet, 2 smaller bedrooms on main floor each with 1 full/twin bunk bed, and large semi-private upstairs with 1 queen, 1 futon and 1 twin bed and 2 skylights with beautiful views of the river). There is 1 full bathroom on main level with tub/shower and double vanity and 1 half bath off the kitchen. Full kitchen with all appliances and popular kitchen amenities. Access to washer/dryer on main level. Charcoal & Gas grill with a fire ring in the back yard. Cottage is located on the Thornapple River and is a short boat ride to the Thornapple Lake. Thornapple Lake is a 409 acre, 30 foot deep lake with crappie, small and large mouth bass, muskie, northern, and walleye. Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage. Additional fees for canoe, and/or kayak rental or fishing excursion with Captain Steve. If you bring your own boat or water craft, there is a launch at Charlton Park nearby. There is room to park your trailer at the cottage. Cottage has dock with available space. Parking available for 8 vehicles in the driveway. Other things to note Please note, there is no wifi. This is meant to be a place to unplug a bit and enjoy time with friends and family! The drinking water is well water. (New well installed 2019) This property is located on the river. Small children will need full supervision. The cottage is kid friendly but not child proof. It is suggested that you bring life jackets for children. Please bring your own beach towels and water toys
