Gorgeous cottage in small village location, near to the river Tweed. 0.8 Mile walk over the chain bridge to the Abbey Town of Melrose, with its 'chocolate box' shops and cafe's to it's large rugby following including the 'Melrose 7's'. The property is newly refurbished and finished to a high standard throughout. Flat Screen Smart TV's in the lounge and both bedrooms. Washer dryer is included in the kitchen. 2 local restaurants, fine dining, all well within walking distance. Great place to stay. The space The main bedroom is very large, with a double bed and also a comfy chair, wardrobe and dressing table complete with hairdryer. Smart flat screen tv along with an electric fan for those hot nights. The ground floor single bedroom is quite small but it does manage to fit an adult size single bed, 2 door wardrobe, side table and a smart flat screen tv in, very cosy. The lounge has 2 seater sofa, 1 chair, 1 table with 2 chairs, electric fire and a smart flat screen TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge and freezer, microwave along with all required utensils. There is a small garden to the front of the property, this has 2 outside chairs and a table. The rear garden is not our garden but the kitchen window looks over this and onto the Eildon hills in the distance. Guest access Parking is on the quiet street outside the property on the opposite side of the road.
