Our wonderful beach house at the West End of the island of Holden Beach is available off-season with a 3 night minimum, and on a weekly basis from Memorial Day through Labor day. We can sleep up to 7 with 4 bedrooms, and our home has unbeatable views of the Intracoastal Waterway, the Marsh and the Ocean. This end of the island is only 2 homes deep, and beach access is just across the street. There is a gate with a code to this end of the island, and vehicular traffic is very low as a result. Inverted plan with open living areas and master bedroom on the top floor for the best views. Porches on the front and back on both floors of the house. Well-equipped kitchen for holiday meals. Beach access is just across the street. Eclectic assortment of books, movies and games. Fiber optic high speed Internet. 220v charging outlet for Tesla or other EV! Rent kayaks to launch off back yard in high tidal periods. Covered parking below the house. Gas grill. Outdoor shower and fish sink. 360 degree views of the waterway and ocean. We are always available by phone or email, but otherwise we are at our main home in Chapel Hill, about 200 miles from the beach. The most relaxing place you can imagine. You definitely need a car, but for fun, there are bike and boat rentals on the island. Holden Beach is a south-facing, family-oriented beach dominated by single-family houses. The climate is just great most of the year, and our end of the beach generally is very quiet, wild and unpopulated. We have warm days in almost every month, except perhaps January and February. The sunsets are fabulous all year round as are the shells on the beach.
