Bright, Dog & Family Friendly Tahoe Donner Home

Our home is a wonderful getaway for families looking to enjoy all Tahoe Donner has to offer. The house can be enjoyed all year-round, with easy access to downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter, and Donner Lake and many hiking and biking trails in the summer. Enjoy a BBQ on the deck and relax on the outdoor seating area in summer. In winter, enjoy epic sledding or have a snowball fight in the backyard. The space Our home is 3 bedrooms and 2 baths plus a small bonus room, with high ceilings and lots of natural light. The house comfortably sleeps 6-8 adults with bunk beds for kids, no more than 8 total guests including children. We are located on a quiet street, close to walking trails and the Northwoods Pool. The living space is bright and spacious with open kitchen, dining and living area. There is a deck off the dining area great for summer BBQ's. A wood burning stove provides plenty of heat in the winter and there is also central heating. A large flat Screen TV in the living area with Roku, WiFi and DVD Player as well as a plenty of puzzles and board games to keep you and the family entertained. Downstairs there is a large bedroom with a Queen Bed and a separate Full Bathroom and Laundry Closet with washer and dryer. Upstairs you will find a large bright room with a Queen Bed and more high ceilings. A second full bathroom and another large bedroom with a Twin over Twin Bunk Bed and a Full Bed plus another flat screen Internet TV. The small bonus room we lovingly call the Harry Potter room and it has a Twin Trundle Bed. Guest access There is a detached Garage which has a covered entrance to the house. The garage can fit 1 car with additional cars able to park on the driveway. You can easily store skis and/or mountain bikes as well in the garage. Other things to note We cherish our home in the mountains and look forward to sharing it with you. We ask guests to treat it like they would their own home. **Absolutely No Smoking inside or out and absolutely no campfires!** Well behaved dogs welcome with prior approval. Read the house rules completely and if you have any doubt just ask, we are happy to clarify if you don't understand a rule.
