Tucked away in a picturesque South Hams village with two friendly pubs just a short stroll away, The Haven is perfectly located for easy access to Dartmoor, countryside walks, and stunning local beaches. The space Set over three floors, The Haven combines period charm with modern convenience, offering stylish, well-equipped spaces throughout. Ground Floor Sitting Room: Comfortable sofas and armchairs, electric stove, TV, and a welcoming atmosphere. Open-Plan Kitchen & Dining Room: Dining Area: Table and chairs for six, original Victorian recessed shelves and cupboard, plus ample additional storage. Kitchen: Fully equipped with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, integrated fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. Includes toaster, kettle, a Krups Nespresso coffee machine, and a utility area with washing machine. Downstairs WC: Convenient cloakroom with sliding door. Garden Access: The kitchen opens onto a sunny, enclosed garden with lawn and flower beds, a decking area with seating, a kettle BBQ, garden bench, and retractable washing line (pegs provided). Stone outbuildings provide bin storage and additional space. First Floor Main Bedroom (Bedroom 1): King-size bed, built-in wardrobe and drawers, writing desk and chair overlooking the garden. En-suite shower room with underfloor heating. Bedroom 2: Two single beds (can be configured as a king-size), original recessed cupboard, large desk with chair, lamp, and power socket. South-west facing window with views over the Square and down the valley. Second Floor Bedroom 3: Two single beds (can be joined as a king-size), original cupboard, built-in drawers beneath sloped ceilings, compact desk with stool, lamp, and power socket. Family Bathroom: Features a full-sized bath, separate shower cubicle with both rainfall and standard showers, and underfloor heating. Guest access Full, exclusive access to the entire house and a fully-enclosed back garden. There is free parking in the village square. There is no allocated parking space but you can always find somewhere to park, often directly in front of the house. Other things to note Duvets, pillows, linen and towels provided. Bio-D hand soap in all bathrooms. Bio-D cleaning materials in kitchen and all bathrooms. Three beach towels provided. Highchair, travel cot and plastic cutlery/crockery provided. Gas-fired hot water. NO smoking anywhere in the house. We accept well-behaved dogs, at a charge of £25 per stay. We ask that dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the soft furnishings, nor that they are left unattended in the house at any time. We provide two metal dog bowls, a jar of dog biscuits, poo bags and a freestanding stair gate which can be used at the bottom of the stairs. (NB. This stair gate is NOT suitable for toddlers.)
