The space Chalet Gavarnie is intended for 2 families, 2 couples with children, it is very bright; we built it for our family, with healthy materials, in the spirit of living outside even inside. Optional spa: supplement of €20/night to be paid by Wero ( avoids the "stay fee" on the spa ) Please note: Until July 1, 2026, access is via a temporary access ramp before the Saussa bridge. The chalet is set back from the slopes, in total silence and quiet, at height, perfect for those who like to immerse themselves in nature without being isolated ( 5 minutes from the center of Gèdre ) and who prefer the freedom to hike in winter (snowshoe trail departure 300m away ) and ski touring, and in summer , access to major sites from the chalet (GR10, Gavarnie, Troumousse, Estaubé, Mont Perdu, Plateau de Saugué, etc.). The cottage is comfortable with walk-in showers, heat pump and underfloor heating when the stove is not enough. It is equipped with electric roller shutters and the latest thermal insulation technologies. Please do not clutter the cabinets for the next ones by leaving your leftovers, including in the fridge and freezer. It takes time for the concierge to charge it on your cleaning deposit. The use of the hot tub is the entire responsibility of the users or their legal guardians. Regarding the practice of alpine skiing, we are 15-20 minutes from the Gavarnie ski slopes (lowest parking) and 25 minutes for the ski-in/ski-out parking, 35 minutes from Luz Ardiden (Luz Saint Sauveur) and 35 minutes from Barèges/Mongia. By continuing your reservation via AIr BnB, you agree to the following conditions: If you refuse to leave the accommodation at the end of the period, an occupancy compensation of €1500 per day will be claimed. No refund is issued if the reservation is cancelled outside of AirBNB's rules. Guest access The keys are collected via a concierge. The current access to the chalet is through the Pont de Pragnère at the level of the electric power station, the point of Bert being under construction. When you arrive, please take a video and photo inventory of your check-in. then send it within 15 minutes of your arrival (time to film and send the video ) . No claims will be taken into account without this. If cleanliness is not to your liking, please call the concierge back, no refund will be possible. It is up to the concierge to iron, see if necessary by comparing with their photos and video and doing what is necessary if necessary. The concierge will only come back upon presentation of the photos / videos of the entrance premises. This is to avoid the current game of some tenants looking to get a discount by playing on cleanliness. No discounts will be given and no refund. Cleaning is partially included in the rental however tenants are asked to: - Empty and clean the fridge - Clean the kitchen countertop as well as the table ( not the facades that are fragile and only clean with microfiber ) - Leave the toilet clean, without any signs of injection ( and yes it unfortunately happens often ... ) - Empty all the drawers in the bedrooms and win all your belongings (including balls... ) - Fold the duvets clean after shaking them and put the pillows back in place. ( please report in case of stains ) - Empty the garbage cans ( dumpster in Gedre or Pragnère ) - Spread a rag on the chairs in the living room - Put away the dishes themselves in their place. A cleaning deposit of €400 is taken by the concierge company (check or cash) and returned at the exit inventory if the cleaning is done correctly and if the accommodation is in a normal state after a week of occupancy. Additional cleaning option possible to be paid to the concierge €120. ( this does not exempt from leaving the toilets in a decent state without trace out of respect for the people who will take care of the cleaning, take out the garbage and empty your closet and put away the dishes ) Dogs allowed on request (max Australian shepherd size) - €30 extra fee to be paid to the concierge directly. This may seem excessive however by this message we indicate that we only want tenants who behave decently respecting the cottage and the people who work there. We are tired of finding the furniture moved, chips and sweets in the couch, the toilets worthy of a service station and a spa with food at the bottom... Renting a property for your holiday does not give all the rights and freedoms. Thank you for respecting the premises, those who build it like those who maintain it as a "good family man". Other things to note Sheets: NO SHEETS PROVIDED ON SITE. There is no company on site that can manage the sheets. Remember to bring your linens and towels. We provide duvets and pillows. (Optional sheets are available for an extra fee, if needed, request by message) Small pets allowed on request, pets prohibited from climbing on beds and sofas or armchairs A crib is available on-site as well (folding). Provide square covers for the pillows. We ask that you keep it clean for the following. If your child vomits or a diaper overflows, it happens, please wash it. It is not pleasant to find a halo when you open the bed next. Put yourself in the place of the next tenants please. grocery store on site, please leave at least the same for the following. We recommend doing all the weekly shopping in Lourdes or Argeles. There is no grocery store in Gedre year-round. In Luz, the supermarket is much more expensive. And it takes 20 minutes to get back down. There is a very large fridge and a separate freezer to stock up and stay at the chalet for the week without having to go shopping again. Depending on the condition of the hot tub, if you let it turn green, the concierge may not return the check to you. Remember to lower the temperature after use. A hot tub isn't a swimming pool. And it doesn't work the same. For your information, the spa cover costs €500 excl. tax. The normal deposit is returned after your stay and return from the Concierge via Airbnb. The cleaning deposit will only be returned if the house is returned in a clean condition (see above). Vandalism, non-compliance with the previous rules that could make it temporarily unusable, weather, mechanical breakdown. The added value of the hot tub per night is €50. In case of unavailability of the hot tub, a partial refund of €50 per night may be considered unless the hot tub becomes unusable during your stay while it was in working condition and use at the beginning of the rental.
