Cabin 24, Large Cabin w/ Hot Tub - near RMNP

This large cabin sits at the edge of RMNP and is frequented by wildlife including elk, deer, & coyotes. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and a washer/dryer in the unit and private hot tub on the deck. It's King suite includes a jacuzzi tub, the 2nd room has a Queen bed, the third has 2 twins. The hall bath has an accessible shower. A large living space with 2 sofa sleepers and a flatscreen TV with cable. A fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher; just bring your own food, coffee, condiments/spices. The space Welcome to Valhalla Resort! Our cabins and condos are tucked into the hillside bordering Rocky Mountain National Park just minutes from downtown Estes Park. We’re nestled along Eagle Cliff Road bordering RMNP. You can hike directly into the park from your cabin. We have several hikes that take you through some beautiful scenery with abundant wildlife and views. There is plenty of space to spread out and relax on our forested, ten-acre grounds with a pool (summer season only), public hot tub for cabins that don’t have their own and a playground, clubhouse, volleyball and basketball. The vibe here is cozy, laid-back, and old-school, with a mix of historic rental quarters and newer, more modern dwellings to choose from. We’re five minutes from downtown Estes Park and just a few minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Guest access You'll have full access to your cabin, as well as our grounds and amenities. Enjoy! Before you book, read on to ensure our quirky property is the right fit for your getaway: WiFi & Cell: Each cabin has its own designated WiFi router and we have a property wide Guest WiFi and separate WiFi in our clubhouse and at the pool (seasonal). Each cabin is also equipped with TDS Cable service. Cell service is typically very good at the property for both T-Mobile and Verizon, T-Mobile can be a little sketchy however in downtown Estes Park. Parking: Our cabins have limited parking this cabin can accommodate up to 4 cars. We have overflow parking to accommodate additional vehicles. We do not allow trailers, motorhomes, oversized vehicles or OHV on the property. The Town of Estes Park provides a seasonal shuttle from July to September that runs daily and picks up at the corner of Hwy 66 and Eagle Cliff Road with stops throughout downtown. Other things to note Safety: Please note our property is wild and rugged, with cliff features, boulders, slopes, uneven surfaces, and regular wildlife visits (bear, elk, wild cats, and more). Use caution around any natural terrain, understand and follow wildlife safety practices, and abide by our pet, fire, hot tub (if your unit includes one), and on-site rules as posted in your cabin guide. Hot tubs [if applicable] are for use at your own risk and not protected by a gate; the hosts are not responsible for injuries resulting from the use of the hot tub, pool or any of our other amenities. Guests shall hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Owner against any and all claims of personal injury or property damage or loss arising from the use of the property, inclusive of but not limited to the house, hot tub, pool, clubhouse, fireplaces, etc., regardless of the nature of the accident, injury, or loss. Seasonal Information: Summer/Early Fall: This is the high season! Note that certain cabins and condos can get toasty during the daytime, but at night typically cool off significantly. Fire season typically falls between summer and early fall in the area, so air quality may be unhealthy during this time, particularly among sensitive groups. Please check the local news for any active fires if you have anyone in your party with sensitivities. Winters & Shoulder Season: Winter in Estes is magical, and we’re happy to make recommendations on activities! While US-34 east of the Park remains open and plowed, if you’re planning to visit during the winter/shoulder season, consider snow tires and any other supplies you may want for winter conditions. Trail Ridge Rd and other routes over the continental divide close seasonally every year, so access to Grand Lake and the western part of RMNP requires rerouting through I-70 to the south (which adds about 3-4 hours to the trip). During winter, watch out for snow shedding from roofs and icy/snowy walkways along our rugged grounds. We’ll send more winter info about a month before arrival. Let us know if you have questions!
