Very clean 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom non-smoking home in a beautiful country setting on an acre of land. Just a 12 minute drive to Uptown Athens & Ohio University. House comfortably sleeps 3-4 people (3 queen beds). Enjoy a self serve breakfast, covered patio and easy access to Hwy 33. There are two wineries very close as well. Enjoy the beautiful country views and rolling hills of SE Ohio. Parking, wifi, hot tub and laundry on site. Perfect for a weekend getaway or a visit to Athens! Our home is set up to be cozy and have everything you might need when you travel. It's recently remodeled with all new beds, linens and towels. Our kitchen is stocked with utensils, cutlery and everything you need to prepare meals. We feature various local artists work and offer many books and magazines featuring our local region. There is a cozy couch, a desk, a lounging area in the basement and outdoor seating on the covered porch. We also offer a 2 person hot tub on the back patio. We provide Netflix, (no additional TV) various games, puzzles and yoga mats as well. We use a self check in system. We live very close to the property and are available as needed. We don't typically interact with guests only to say "hi" or to answer any questions you may have. We're also happy to share our favorite restaurants, bars and outdoor adventures if you need recommendations. Our neighborhood is unique because of it's privacy and beautiful rolling hills. You can't see any other houses and across the street you'll find nothing but trees and wildlife. As you make your way down our road you'll find some of the old family farms still tending cattle. The house sits on just over an acre and you will often see deer, a hawk perched in a tree or a fox on the move. With that said, we are only 12 minutes from Uptown Athens and Ohio University, 45 minutes from Hocking Hills and 20 minutes to Pomeroy. We're located about 12 minutes from Uptown Athens & Ohio University. The road is quiet enough that you could go for a walk (or bike ride) and catch a beautiful sunset view. Athens County offers Green Cab, Lyft & Uber for transportation needs. There is also Athens Public Transit available within the city limits. It does not come to our property.
