Bass Cottage is a stunning, fully refurbished 3 bedroom property offering bright and spacious, family- friendly accommodation. The space After years of visiting family in Lizard Village, we were delighted when Bass Cottage became available. Though it was in need of lots of TLC, we enthusiastically set about making it a bright and welcoming home from home. We are delighted with the result and are now ready to share our lovely cottage with discerning guests. The accommodation is arranged on 2 floors. On the ground floor there is a well equipped kitchen/diner complete with built in electric fan oven, combi microwave, induction hob and extractor fan. There is also a washing machine , dishwasher, coffee maker and large fridge/freezer. The family size dining table is suitable to use as a roomy laptop work space, if needed. Off the kitchen there is a WC, wash basin and cloakroom - so plenty of space for coats and walking boots. Through double light oak and frosted glass doors you will find a spacious and comfy lounge , with sofas, TV, DVDs, free wifi and cosy soft furnishings for your relaxation. There is also a Dimplex flame-effect electric fire and newly installed heat pump air-conditioning unit to keep you comfortable in all weathers. From the lounge, you can step out through the french doors into your own private courtyard space. A lovely spot for an al-fresco breakfast, or on a clear evening to sip a glass of wine under a star studded sky. Upstairs there are 3 well appointed bedrooms: 1 x king, 1 x double and 1 x bunk beds (suitable for children/young teens), together with a sparkly clean modern family bathroom, with bath /shower, WC, wash basin, heated towel radiator, extractor fan. Guest access A free designated parking space is available in the car park adjacent to Bass Cottage. Other things to note Bass Cottage is situated right in the heart of Lizard Village. The local pub, The Witchball, Coast Cafe and Fat Jack's Cafe are very close by. During summer months there is increased activity and outdoor dining. (All 3 serve excellent food) There are a few local shops including a part time Post Office within the village. Tesco's and Sainsburys supermarkets can be found in Helston (approx 11 miles).
