The space Cabin #8 is a beautiful and centrally located 3 Bed/2 Bath Two Story Log Cabin! Sleeping up to 8 guests with a King bed, 2 Queen beds, and a Queen sleeper sofa. And no log cabin is a true log cabin without a wood burning stove (and laundry in unit, of course), which we have! A true serene setting, enjoy watching the sunset over Mount Baldy, take a walk by Grand Lake or browse the shops along the boardwalk. During the summer months, rent a kayak, paddle board, or a pontoon boat for water fun. Fishing is available at the point in Lemmon Lodge or take your rod and reel and fly fish in the river! Partake in some afternoon sports available on the grounds with badminton, volleyball, or horseshoe. In the evenings, make a hearty dinner at the cabin or take a stroll into town and dine at our amazing local restaurants. Want to make it fancy? Take in a show at the renowned Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater. End the night by enjoying dessert at the Grand Lake Chocolates or Miyauchi's Snack Bar. Visiting in the Winter? The North Pole has nothing on Grand Lake! Perfect for snow activities, snowboarding/skiing is available just 30 minutes away at Granby Ranch and about 50 minutes away to the famous Winter Park Ski Area. Ice fish in Grand Lake or go hiking, cross-country skiing, or snow shoeing in the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. Snowmobiles are available for rent and can be driven throughout town (permitting snow conditions). The fantastic Grand Lake Golf Course also doubles as a cross-country ski area for those who prefer groomed trails. With so much to do any time of the year, our cabin is perfect for any getaway.
