A traditional BED-AND-BREAKFAST. Host lives on site. One-story, fully restored 1910 Victorian House with wrap-around porch. Two bedrooms share an updated bathroom. A reservation for 1 bedroom shuts down the availability of the other bedroom to a different guest. The host provides a full breakfast at a time the guest selects. Off-street, fenced-in parking is located at the back of the house. Access from parking to the front entrance is up five steps and around the porch to the front door. One bedroom has a queen bed with luxurious linens, comfortable chairs, a small work table, TV, make-up/dressing area, and a refrigerator. The second bedroom has twin beds with luxurious linens, comfortable chairs, vanity, and refrigerator. It has no TV. Amenities for infants: highchair, plastic tub for bathing, sleeping pod (zipped enclosure) for child 2 and under. (Children 7 & older should be in the 2nd bedroom.) Bath products are purchased from locally owned shops in Natchez. Pet availability: Depends upon size. Guests may enjoy the front parlor, dining room, and front porch. A side patio has a teakwood seating area, a table with an umbrella that seats 4, a fountain, and a natural-gas grill for guests' use. Greeting, answering guests' questions, making reservations at restaurants. Breakfast served in the dining room, but other optional areas are available. Blueberry lemonade served in afternoon. La Perl is 3 blocks from the Mississippi River and bluff and is in the Natchez preservation district. House is 6 blocks from Main Street where antique and apparel shops, restaurants, and historic homes and churches are located. Maps and directions are provided to guests for walking, bicycling, and driving to places of interest. A single reservation is needed to occupy both bedrooms since bathroom is shared. When you reserve for one bedroom only, the other one is shut down. Perfect venue for 3 to 4 women who want to meet for a "Girls' Get-a-way." (Parking area accommodates four vehicles in a secure environment.)
