The lodge sets at the top Samsons Whitetail Mountain, with close proximity to Shawnee National Forest for zip lining, rock climbing, hiking, Tunnel Hill State Trail or Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. You can relax on the beautiful porch or balcony and watch herds of elk and whitetail deer, enjoy the view of the lake or just bask in the gorgeous sunset. *No parties or events allowed by you during your stay. *DOOR ACCESS CODE AND ADDRESS WILL BE SENT PRIOR TO ARRIVAL The space Rustic private rooms with several decks where you will see numerous elk and deer roaming the property. Each room has 2-3 queen beds and a full bathroom. Also features a private lake (that guests may fish in) Surrounded by Shawnee National Forest. *All required Illinois fishing license/permits are guest responsibility and are required to have. Samson's is not responsible) *property is a gated, high fence hunting preserve. Guest access The space around your cabin and the main graveled road only. Other things to note PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING AND ALL RULES AND POLICIES THOROUGHLY BEFORE BOOKING. ALL CORRESPONDENCE MUST BE DONE THROUGH AIRBNB. WE WILL ANSWER MESSAGES AS QUICKLY AS WE POSSIBLY CAN. Housekeeping includes departure clean ONLY. Linens and bath towels are included and are not to be taken from the unit. An initial setup of trash liners & bathroom paper is provided. Additional items needed are the responsibility of the guest. No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet, etc. Outages are to be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible. The operation and maintenance of these utilities is out of the control of Samson's Mountain/Jerry Stafford and his employees. Please return lodge to the way you found it. PET POLICY - Please keep your pet on a leash at all times. Pets and owners are to stay on the main road and do not have access or permission to walk the property. Please clean up after your pet both inside and out. Party Policy- No parties allowed during your stay. No additional guests are allowed unless we are notified. The person whose card is on file will be responsible for any and all damage to the property or stolen items. Violation of these rules will result in additional fees and you will be asked to leave the premises, and no refund will be given.
