Blocks off Alberta

The room is very spacious, and east facing, so you get nice, soft morning light. Located two blocks from all that Alberta has to offer! Walk to your choice of coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques. The bedroom for rent is the master of the house, and has it's own, private bathroom. There is another room for rent in the house (listed as Alberta Arts), so there may or may not be other guests in the house during your stay. Easy access to public transportation. The space The home was built in 1907, and has lots of sweet little details. This cozy second level room is east facing, getting lovely natural light through the early part of the day. Windows open into private back yard with well kept garden. Guest access Your choice of entering through the main or back door, keys are the same for both. Please make yourself at home. Should you choose to use the back door, you will find the gate to the back yard through the side yard. Feel free to spend time in the back yard, or on the front porch, and in any of the common spaces. Should you want to prepare a meal or two at the house, you are more than welcome! During your stay I will be home with some rentals and away with others, but will always be available for questions and concerns. When I am in town, I'll meet you upon arrival, and get you orientated in the house, and point out a few things in the neighborhood. In the cases where I am not in town, I will leave you keys and let you know where you can find them prior to your arrival. When you leave, please put the keys in the mail slot and send me a text. Other things to note I do my absolute best to welcome everyone in my home, regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, or nationality. One of the things I enjoy about opening my home to travelers is the opportunity to engage with people I would not necessarily meet otherwise. Thank you for considering my home for your trip to Portland! Also, I have a chatty dog. He is a dear, but may be quite little vocal upon your arrival. Once he has said hello, he will not say much more. He may ask to come into your room, but he has been taught to stay out unless invited in.
