The Courton Reserve is exclusively yours: a secluded estate with natural swimming pool, wild beach, tennis court, forest paths and outdoor experiences. The Museum of Natural History qualifies our Reserve to Habitat of European Interest. The space Living room, dining room, kitchen, extra living room. First floor: 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 3 loos, à dressing room and a child playroom. Two foresters live in a separate apartment with its own entrance. They look after the reserve, secure it and are discreet. If you don’t need them they don’t ‘exist’. Housekeeping, ironing, washing, or babysitting 2 hours a week for stays over 6 days. A couple of guided walks in the reserve of 1 to 3 hours. Our forest habitats spread over an area of 200,000. square metres. They are lush ecosystems, each with its own personality and its own story to tell. 

Over few generations we have become an oasis for most of the Sologne species we count in the reserve: kingfishers, jays, buzzards, egrets, woodpeckers, great tits, robins, herons, … The presence of these birds is a constant reminder of the diversity and beauty of avian fauna. By providing welcoming habitats we create an environment in which they can flourish. In turn, they add a touch of life, colour and sound to our daily lives, reinforcing our connection with nature and our commitment to preserving the environment. Air renewal is ensured by opening the many doors and windows for a minimum of four hours just prior to your arrival. Our deep forest situation, remote from the main lines of communication and the major urban centres, protects the quality of our air. ANIMALS: We accept a pet, specially a family dog, but please do ask us in advance as for various reasons we cannot accept some animals like cats.
