Ferrybank Cottage

Quiet courtyard house. Situated on the bank of the River Tay in Dunkeld. A private upstairs 2 room arrangement plus a private bathroom with a shower. Access from the garden to the village centre where there are numerous places to enjoy food, a coffee or a drink in beer gardens or inside. There is also riverside access to Craigvinean Forest which provides multiple walks with amazing views and scenery. Dunkeld is central to many road and mountain biking. Ideal location for attending weddings. The space A shared hallway leads upstairs to a spacious bedroom with a king size bed. Breakfast dining set in the room and a chaise longue for relaxation. An adjoining snug contains sofas and a TV. In the snug there is also a counter height fridge, microwave and tea/coffee facilities. Just outside the bedroom and also upstairs there is a private bathroom with a rain-shower for your sole use. Your best view is to the north of the Tay and the established trees, from about October to April the Cathedral and the centre of Dunkeld and the hills beyond are visible too. Guest access Parking in Dunkeld is possible on the main streets or at the 2 public car parks, one at each end of the village. However you will have your own parking space outside the house in a secluded driveway and it is an easy 2 minute walk through the orchard and across the bridge to Dunkeld or a 5 minute walk to Birnam. During your stay I do like to meet my guests at some point, it's part of the fun of hosting but some guests prefer to get on and do their own thing which is not a problem either.
