Located just 2.5 hours from NYC, we are minutes from Hillsdale, NY, tucked into the Taconic Range and only a few miles from Great Barrington, MA, the Berkshires and Catamount Ski Area. A perfect property for larger family and group gatherings. Located just one mile from Catamount ski area, 10 miles from Great Barrington, MA, and 15 miles from Hudson, NY, this property is perfectly secluded yet close to farmers’ markets, shops, restaurants, as well as outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, and fishing. The Main House The living room, with floor to ceiling windows, is a spacious gathering spot perfect for the whole group with multiple seating areas, a game table, TV and a fireplace. The gourmet kitchen can easily accommodate cooking for larger groups. Just off of the kitchen is the dining room with a table for 10. Or, for a solitary escape, take a seat in the library and select from a wide variety of books. There are 6 bedrooms upstairs. The master bedroom features a large walk-in closet, a sitting area and a private bathroom. Down the hall there is another full bathroom and four bedrooms, three with queen beds and one with two twin beds. Additionally, there is a sixth large bedroom with a queen bed and a private bathroom. The house can accommodate a maximum of 12 people, the cottage a maximum of 4 people. The house has Smart TV in the living room, wifi throughout and good cell reception. Please note that there is split-system air conditioning in the living room and dining room on main level, and 2 of the bedrooms. A 3rd bedroom has a window AC unit. There are fans in each bedroom. The Cottage The cottage has two bedrooms (one with a queen bed and the other with two twins) a living room, kitchen and a full bath. The cottage is not air conditioned but is equipped with several fans. It has it's own wifi network. The Overlook Deck Enjoy the views while sipping coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The deck features comfortable seating, a grill, and amazing views. The Property Strolling the grounds, you will find wild flowers, numerous outbuildings, several hammocks, multiple seating areas and spectacular views. Feel free to set up one of the many lawn games including croquet, badminton, volleyball, and horseshoes, all found in the 'tack room' connected to open Pavilion. There is parking for a maximum of 6 vehicles. Guests are given a code to the house for self check-in. The owners are out of sight but never far away if needed.
