Though very pretty in winter and summer, the spring season is when you really must take this drive. Along the way, you can visit wineries, and art galleries, and experience small-town friendliness. It's by far one of the most beautiful drives in America, and it's right here in Northwest Michigan waiting for you. If you don’t want the fun to end, continue down M-22 along the Lake Michigan shoreline. Spider Lake is located in Grand Traverse County, Michigan. This lake is 459 acres in size. It is approximately 36 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Rock Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Sunfish, and Yellow Perch. Not into fishing, worry not. We have a pickle ball court, paddles, and ball, 2 kayaks, a paddle boat, a canoe, a fire pit perched just feet from the shoreline, a fully stocked kitchen, a washer and dryer, wrap-around deck, cross country skis, board games, corn hole, hammocks, cards, 2 stories, master bedroom on the main floor, 2 bedrooms on the upper floor with accompanied bunks, queen and full mattresses, fresh linens, walk-in shower on the first floor, half bath on the second floor, free Wi-Fi & cable TV.
