Design waterfront apartment in central Ghent

Waterfront appartement 1st floor, 4 rooms around (3 en suite, 1 separate bathroom across the landing). This means the entire first floor is yours! Splendid view on the tree lined canal in front of the house. Sleeps 4. Bedroom, bedroom/sitting room, kitchen with dining area; Bathroom with walk-in shower. Views across Ghent. All mod cons including high speed wifi (218 Mbps). For a comfortable stay it can host up to 3 adults or 2 adults + 2 younger children. The space The apartement is decorated with design furniture. The interior is a warm interpretation of minimalist Scandinavian design. It's so cosy that perhaps you won't want to go out ;-) Guest access You will share the entrance and the staircase with the owners. On the landing on the first floor you have direct access to the apartment and your own bath room. The toilet is located on the ground floor. During your stay We live in this big house with our two daughters, aged 18 and 20. So, there's always someone around to help you. We all love traveling and meeting people, so we would be happy to know you better. We can even organise dinner for you (guest table formula) and have a nice chat - we speak Dutch, English, French, Italian fluently, and manage German and Spanish too. Other things to note We looooove good food and will be happy to share our favourite restaurants and (breakfast) bars with you. If you prefer to eat in, we can serve you breakfast (12,50 EUR/person). And if we are around, we can organise a table d'hôtes and enjoy dinner together (25-30 EUR/person - with organic vegetables from our pick your own farm - also vegetarian meals). Just ask for it. We are language enthousiasts: we speak Dutch, French, English, Italian, Spanish and German. Sybil made two attempts to learn Portuguese. Ghent has a low emission zone, which means polluting cars are banned from the city center. So check the city's website (search with key word LEZ) before you enter our street by car. We do not accept bachelor(ette) parties or similar events.
