Ideally located in the lower Henriville district, very close to the city center, a 5-minute walk from the train station, Le NEMO is a very nice cocooning & cozy apartment that will welcome you in a warm decor and a very pleasant exterior. Ideal for your short or long stays, for a romantic weekend or a professional assignment. Close to all shops and amenities, buses, you can see everything from Amiens on foot or by bike (Jules Verne's house, Cathedral, Hortillonnages…) The space IMPORTANT INFORMATION: For any reservation with a same-day arrival, please allow 1.5 to 2 hours between the time the reservation is made and your check-in, thank you. For December 25, 2020 only, arrivals will only be possible from 5:00 p.m. (and before 8:00 p.m., the curfew time currently in effect). The NEMO apartment is located on the ground floor of a newly renovated house in the lower Henriville district, on the street of the Jules Verne Museum. It faces the back of the house, quiet, on a beautiful terrace extended by a private courtyard and enclosed by walls. This is the ideal place to stay in Amiens: very close to the city center (less noise!), the SNCF train station, Gaumont cinemas, the Jules Verne Municipal Circus, many bus lines, and all amenities 15 yards away (Carrefour City, pharmacy, bakery, café, tobacco, butcher, cheese shop...). Getting to the forecourt of our sublime Cathedral, visiting our Hortillonnages (Unesco classified) or having a drink in one of the many bars and restaurants of the typical Saint-Leu district, will not take you more than 10 minutes on foot. The apartment has: - Wi-Fi access - a beautiful & large new functional kitchen and very well equipped with dishwasher, 4-burner induction stove, oven, range hood, microwave oven, fridge with freezer space, Senseo coffee maker, toaster, kettle, dishes and utensils necessary for your stay (cutlery, glasses, cups, pots, pans, dishes...), plenty of storage. - Dining (or work) area with table and 3 high stools. - A beautiful night area, consisting of a double bed (140) with a single bed (90) above with new and quality bedding, duvets, duvet covers, fitted sheets, sheets, pillows and pillowcases, bedside lamps. Note that according to the regulations in force in France, the bunk bed (the top one) is not authorized for a child under 6 years old, according to French law. A beautiful living area including new flat screen wall TV, armchairs, coffee tables, rugs, shelves, frames and decor. 2 large French windows with electric shutters. You can enjoy a large and pleasant paved terrace extended by a courtyard enclosed by walls, perfect for relaxing! - Large bathroom with tiled bathtub; sink and mirror cabinet; toilet; large dressing room with hangers, iron and ironing board.
