This gorgeous cottage has a great chilled feel to it, perfect for relaxing with the family or friends after trampling the moors or exploring the Quantock Hills or local beaches and villages. Hind Cottage has a wonderful open plan kitchen/dining room and family room downstairs, great for playing games or gathering together for some drinks and food after a busy day exploring the local area. Head upstairs to the living room where you can spend hours staring at the view from the window of the Quantock Hills, the comfortable living room has ample seating and a double sofa bed. Upstairs also has a kingsize bedroom and a twin bedroom plus a good sized bathroom with a shower over the bath. Outside the garden is shared with the owners pub, with lots of seating areas and beautifully kept, its great for spending an afternoon chilling out or for the kids to make new friends! Next door to the cottage is the owners pub, a traditional inn dating back to 1608! The pub has a wonderful menu and the owner has kindly offered a discount to Hind Cottage guests, perfect as no driving will be required to get home! The bar is dog friendly also, so no need to leave your furry family members behind when you go for dinner. Minehead is just 15 miles away, where visitors can enjoy golf, tennis, the West Somerset Railway and lovely sandy beaches. The county town of Taunton offers shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Nature can be seen at its best within the wonderfully unspoilt and peaceful Exmoor National Park, which is among the UK’s greatest Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. In this stunning landscape, wildlife lovers can observe majestic red deer, Exmoor ponies and hundreds of different species of birds. There are ancient wooded valleys with magical waterfalls, a dramatic coastline with secluded beaches and miles of open moorland. The medieval village of Dunster is nearby, with its National Trust castle and terraced gardens. Activities to enjoy locally include horse riding, fishing, bird watching, water sports and cycling.
