Description
A cozy maisonette, conveniently located in the H<3art of Mykonos Town, Little Venice! A beautiful, picturesque & Pinterest-worthy area that relates to the sea, the landmarks and beautiful bougainvilleas. During the night, it reshapes itself into the fun-Zone of the island! Keep in mind that the house, because of its location amongst bars and clubs, is not a quiet sanctuary. However, we have done everything in our power to soundproof it efficiently in order to get closer to that quiet sanctuary! The space The island, its light and the way of life are the key areas from where this Cycladic Maisonette got its inspiration! Light walls, natural materials and the feeling of the outdoors! This cozy maisonette is located in the historic neighbourhood of Mikrì Venetìa (Μικρή Βενετία//Little Venice) and is one of the oldest of the island! It is a unit of two (and a half) levels with its own entrance. On the first level you will be welcomed into a light and high-ceiling lounge room that also hosts a fully equipped kitchenette and a breakfast table. Further inside is the first bedroom with its en-suite bathroom. Following the wooden staircase upstairs, you will land on the second level. There you will find a full bathroom, a bedroom and the laundry-room! Both bedrooms have a •double-bed •vanity desk/office •wardrobe •Full body mirror Outside of the second bedroom, you will land on level "2.5". The terrace! Here you can chill, have breakfast/dinner and make memories with the help of the exquisite panoramic 360º view of Mykonos Town and the breathtaking Sunsets, various landmarks and the Moonscapes at night! *Keep in mind that this listing is for 2 guests. Guest access Just like any medieval settlement, Mykonos is best experienced on foot! So within Mykonos Town you won't need any means of transportation. There are even a few beaches within walking distance! Like Agía Ànna(9mins), Vída(8mins) and Megáli Àmmos(13mins) But in order to go to the main beaches, you can take the bus! The Bus Stops (Fàbrika (6mins) and Paliò Limáni(12mins)) are very close to the house and from there you have access to almost all beaches! From Fàbrika you can take the bus to: Kórfos (our own windsurfing and kitesurfing beach!!!) Ornos (from here you can take a "kayìki", a traditional little wooden old-timey boat that can drop you off at the beach of your preference! The extra beaches that you can reach are Liá and Agrári) Àgios Ioannis(->and Káppari) Psarú Platis Gialos (from here you can take the "kayìki"as well!) Paránga Paradise Super Paradise -+-Airport-+- and from the Paliò Limáni you can go to: Tùrlos Àgios Stéfanos Pánormos Elià Kaló Livádi However, if you plan to rent a Car/ATV/Scooter etc in order to further explore the island, there are 3 free parking lots in the vicinity of the house where the -one closest to the house is a literal 3minute walk (under it there is a smaller privately owned parking lot where users have to pay 10€ per check-out) -second closest to the house is at an 8minute walk and the -most remote parking lot (or parking dessert) starts at a 15minute walk and ends 10minutes later (it is the biggest parking lot on the island (but is also the one closest to the sea). If you need info about parking, just let me know! Other things to note In case you have to do some work during your holidays or are a digital nomad (or in case, because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the #WorkFromHome necessity you want to come and work remotely from Mykonos, the Wi-Fi connection in the house is among the fastest you can get in Mykonos Town). The Internet speed is the fastest a commercial connection can get on the island and in Mykonos Town. The Download Speed is 23Mbps & The Upload Speed is 5Mbps So it is more that enough for your ZOOM meetings etc!!! #WorkHorse Also, keep in mind that Mykonos is a barren island with very little water. Especially this year where there was no rain at all! Thus, we have to ship water to the island. Having said this, please be mindful of your water use. Also, on the island there is no recycling plant, which is unacceptable. If you would to know any solution to that, please share it with me so that we can make a proposal to the mayor and some business owners so that we can make a positive change and save the Aegean sea from it's plastic death sentence! +++In case you have any special requests or are in need of •a Concierge •a Chef •a Photographer or you want to visit the island of Delos or you want info about Cruise services... just let me know!!! Lastly, if you are a hiker, a kayaker or a beer lover let me know when you book so that I can let you know about the those things on the island! Registration Details 00001324957
