Beautifully remodeled farmhouse, nestled in a quiet field overlooking Gorham Mnt in Acadia NP. Walk out the door hiking and just 2 miles from Acadia's carriage road system or laying on Seal Harbor Beach. 4 miles from the Town of Bar Harbor (on the free Island bus service-seasonal). Relax on the deck or in the hot tub after a day of exploration. Eat with family on the back deck, sit by the fire and stargaze. Sleep, repeat. 5th Bedroom is a walkout apt for more space. Just ask. (Added fee) The space The original home was a farmhouse built in 1900. It has had two additions added over the years. The bedrooms are upstairs and there are three large "living rooms" on the first floor, one with a pull out queen couch platform bed. There is plenty of room to spread out and the large kitchen has lots of amenities for dinner at home. Hot tub is off the back. We maintain this routinely. Guest access The entire house, with additional fee for the basement apartment that sleeps 4 more people. It has a queen bed and a full size futon couch/bed. Full kitchen and bathroom with shower. This is a nicely lighted walk out basement. Great spot for teens or older parents who may want some quieter space.
