Private island in lake near central Norrtälje

A private secluded island in a lake, yet only 10-12 minutes from central Norrtälje and the entire range of services there. !!! NOTE Boating experience is an absolute requirement !!! The rent includes a Buster Large. A requirement is that the person renting has boat experience and can handle such a boat. The space THE ISLAND The island is about 4500 square meters and with associated water about 1.5 hectares. The island consists mostly of natural land with lawn to the east. In the southwest there is a lovely cliff bath, from where you can also enjoy fantastic sunsets overlooking the entire lake. There is also a dining area and a cozy fireplace. To the east, the mainland is on the other side of a strait. We have dogs and the island is fenced with a 60 cm high net fence. Pets are welcome. THE LAKE The lake is a fairly large lake near Norrtälje. For those interested in fishing, there are good opportunities for fishing with their own hand gear on our water. The lake also has a rich bird life, with various seabirds as well as eagles. THE MAIN BUILDING The main building is about 80 square meters large and the whole house is included apart from a smaller room where we store our private belongings. The house has an electric incinerating toilet, shower and washing machine. Seawater is in the houses, but drinking water must be brought in containers. The living room faces southwest with stunning views of the lake. It is about 25 square meters large and is furnished with a seating area and armchair. There is a 42 "TV with chromecast, and fireplace with cassette. Mobile wifi included. Very good Internet coverage on the island. The kitchen is equipped with a stove for wood burning, electric stove, fridge and freezer with built-in ice machine, espresso machine, baking machine, microwave and electric water kettle. There is plenty of crockery and the kitchen is well equipped. Dining table with 3 extra extension plates allows many to eat together. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed (2x90cm) with memory foam bed mattresses so that you sleep really well. Along the short side there is a "wardrobe wall". The small bedroom has a desk, chest of drawers and a built-in bunk bed, 80 cm wide. THE SMALLER HOUSE The smaller house is about 30 sqm large with open floor plan and open up to the ceiling. The house has large panoramic windows facing the lake. Lillstugan is equipped with a simple kitchen, running cold water, refrigerator with separate freezer compartment, sofa bed (IKEA Ektorp) and stove. The small cottage also has a veranda under a roof OTHER There are both Weber gas and charcoal grills. Guest access As a guest you have the whole island to yourself Other things to note The island is not ideal for small children and people that cannot swim as it is deep water on most sides of the island.
