Hundred Year Old Heritage Shophouse (Loft)

Welcome to our family owned, renovated and run historical home. A 100 year shophouse where your “entire area” is the top floor of our 3-story shophouse in the heart of Georgetown. Meticulously renovated from an existing birdhouse to its former glory. All renovation was carried out using recycled hard wood and red bricks. The electrical work and water piping are all exposed. The space Your space is the top floor (loft) of a 3 storey shophouse. This room is a combination of hardwood and red bricks which gives the room a feeling of warmth and cosiness when its raining outside and coolness when the sun is beating. This in combination with stratigically situated lights enhances the ambience. The queen bed comes with the price of the room for 2 persons. Guests travelling together but wish for separate beds, please contact me before finalising your booking. The bottom part of the bunk bed is ONLY made on request for an extra charge of RM50 a night. The room rate covers ONLY 2 persons. We accommodate an extra person (maximum of 3 persons), charged at an extra RM150/pax/night. Guest access Access to the main entrance below is through a metal grilled sliding door, behind which a thick wooden panelled door. Up a flight of stairs and you get to another thick wooden panelled door in which you will have the key to access. Behind this door is another flight of stairs to your private room. Guests only get one set of keys, thank you. Other things to note Please message us the full name as per IC of each guests, outside visitors are not allowed into our property. If a guest brings more people than were booked, the reservation will be cancelled with no refund. I am not always at the property so please let us know your estimated time of arrival so we can be at the property to welcome you. Only the louvers of the front wooden windows can be opened, guests can also open the glass windows behind the wooden windows for air circulation within the room. Guests only get one set of keys, we don't provide another set for security reasons. We will personally hand each guests keys to their room and expect the keys returned personally during check out, thank you for your understanding. Please keep our home a smoke free environment, guests caught smoking cigarettes, vapes or e-cigarettes in the perimeter will be fined Rm500. Lastly, our house is located in a row of brick exterior, wooden interior houses. We constantly treat both the exterior and interior to keep out pests, including insects, small lizards, and mice. This is a reality of nature. Our space might not be fit for those who are extremely phobic of these creatures. Thank you.
