The space The newly renovated apartment features this cozy private room with a stunning view of the Elafiti Islands and an attached private bathroom with a shower. Enjoy a double bed (200×140 cm), a mini fridge, kettle, sugar, coffee and salt, as well as a thoughtfully prepared Treat Corner with a coffee machine, complimentary coffee pods and tea, and a sweet treat to level up your stay. 🚫 Please note that the room does not include a kitchen or kitchenette — only a kettle and coffee machine are provided (no microwave, blender, toaster or cooking appliances). 📍 Located in Gruž, near the harbor & main bus station (10min walk). 🏰 Old Town: 3km away (7-10 min by transport). 🚍 City bus stop: Market Gruž (Pjaca Gruž) – 5-minute walk ✈️ Airport: 20km away. ❗️ Parking is nearly impossible to find—please be aware. Important to know The building is located on a hill (which gives you the amazing view), so there are steps to climb — please see photos. 💰 5-night stays receive a 3% discount 🏠 We live in the apartment full-time, sharing only the main entrance and a small hallway.… and, fun fact, the boiler – the whole apartment shares the same hot water supply. (💦 There’s plenty of it, but let’s keep it fair for everyone) An iron and ironing board can be found in the wardrobe drawer. Behind your bathroom wall is our bedroom, so keeping noise to a reasonable level is highly appreciated. 🤗 🧺 Laundry service Wash & fold is available on request only for the guests staying 2+ nights. Instructions are provided in the room. The room is part of a private apartment on the 3rd floor of a 10-storey residential building, accessible by elevator. Guest access 📍 Getting here (quick overview) From Main Bus Station (last and first stop for the airport shuttle "Platanus"): approx. 10–15 min walk or 5 min by Uber/taxi. Airport shuttle: runs on a weekly schedule that can change, so please check the current timetable. From the port (ferry terminal): up to 10 min walk. ❗️ Getting to the building requires climbing steps—please check the photos. Enjoy the small balcony, perfect for fresh air, sunshine, and breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea, Elafiti Islands, and cityscape. 🔑 Private entrance from the hallway ensures complete privacy. Other things to note ⛴️ Gruž Harbor (less than 1 km, 5-10 min walk) offers boat trips to the Elafiti Islands and beyond. 🚌 Main Bus Station (Autobusni kolodvor), where the airport shuttle drops you off (1 km away). A convenient luggage drop-off is available there. 🚍 Public transportation: Bus 1A/1B to the Old Town runs every 15 minutes from the Market Gruž bus stop (Pjaca Gruž), which is a 5-minute walk from Leon’s Place. A taxi ride takes under 10 minutes, depending on traffic. Walking to the Old Town may take anywhere between 20 and 50 minutes, depending on your pace and chosen route. 🛒 A supermarket is just below the building (2 min walk). 🌊 Seafront attractions include: • Local marketplace • Restaurants & bars • Exchange office • Pharmacy & bank • Bus stop & luggage storage • Tourist information centers • Park Luja Šoletića – a pleasant green park with benches, ideal for a quiet break or enjoying shade during the summer months 🚗 Note for drivers: Traffic restrictions apply around the Old City from April to November. Vehicles without a permit cannot enter the restricted zone. Guests arriving by car are advised to familiarise themselves with the local traffic regulations.
