The space The living space Whether you are a family with children, looking for a vacation apartment or bringing grandpa and grandma and good friends, there is plenty of space on our idyllic farm. From the farmhouse built in 1892, Alois and Martina Loch have created unique apartments, inspired by the surrounding nature (Eifel). Harmonious colors and restored furniture, from almost bygone days, combine in the rooms to create a feel-good ambience that promises relaxation and keeps its promise. Cooking together, sitting together in the evening (and sometimes closing the door to the children's bedroom) when the adults want their peace and quiet. This is comfort that you often only know from home. Our apartments on the rural Maifeld offer freedom and relaxation. The private kitchen allows self-catering and in the living area there is space for the whole family. In addition, our farm in the middle of the Maifeld is a good starting point for discoveries in the Eifel, Westerwald, Taunus and Hunsrück, centrally located between Cologne (1h), Frankfurt (1h) and Trier (1h). If you want to hike or cycle through the certified adjacent dream trails, paradise circular trails, the vineyards of the Moselle, discover the historic cities (Koblenz, Andernach, Mayen, Münstermaifeld), then you are in the right place on the Maifeld. Because everything is just a stone's throw away! Guest access Access to the apartment is through a separate entrance. The key handover takes place in the adjacent Café Bauernschmause, which is right across from the house. The keys and apartment handover is done by Martina or her Martin and Steffi. Other important information From Saturday and Sunday the cake takeaway is open. We also offer our guests breakfast in the courtyard on Sundays in summer. Enjoy delicious cakes and a rich breakfast.
