Coastal Getaway Bolivar

The house is on a large corner lot with plenty of privacy. A great place to relax! The Bolivar Peninsula is known for its fishing and bird watching. The beaches are great place to soak up the sun, collect shells and watch the large ships go by. The closest beach is 2 mile drive. You can drive directly onto the beach (need parking pass). The nearby resort town of Crystal Beach offers restaurants, small water parks, fishing excursions and golf. Many more activities nearby in Galveston. The space The house is approximately 4 miles from the ferry port and 2 miles from the beach. Golf carts are not advised. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and oven. The heat stove is also gas. One propane grill and one charcoal grill. There are two smart TVs, Blu-ray player, a supply of DVDs and board games. The Internet provider is AT&T with speed of 25MG. This is a quiet vacation spot. Dining, nightlife and activities are not far away in Crystal Beach or across the ferry to Galveston on the Seawall or The Strand. Guest access The maintenance area below the house is not accessible to guests. The closet in the living room is only for housekeeping access and is not accessible to guests. Other things to note You can generally park on the beaches on the Peninsula, however a parking permit is required. It costs about $10 and is good for the calendar year. You can get these at the Big Store in Crystal Beach (8 miles)or other stores and gas stations. You will want to stop there anyway to pick up ice, groceries, etc. The ferry can be busy especially on weekends. Planning your trips early in the morning or later at night may be lesser wait times.
