Lakefront cottage over looks the picturesque South Bay Lake Nipissing . This lovely area provides a truly memorable experience for outdoor enthusiast's. The western views over the lake, as our guests say can't be put into words. "You have to be here to experience and feel it" I agree it is so peaceful, private and calm. All the vast lands to the west,from the water to the mountain side, is a protected nature preserve. The evening sunsets offer fantastic pictures from your cottage or the docks. The space Modern and private 2 bedroom cottage with its own furnished docks. The cottage has a 4 pce. bathroom. Kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker , microwave, and cupboards have all serving ware and cooking utensils. 2 bedroom cottage will sleep 6-7 persons. Fully furnished, as well is the screened porch and outside decks. Picnic table and Muskoka chairs by the campfire area. Gas or charcoal BBQ. Explore the protected nature filled wetlands and waterways with the complimentary canoes and kayaks. Over at the main docks there are paddle boats and stand up boards to enjoy as well. There are fourteen rental fishing boats to choose from with 15- 20 hp. motors. Lots of docking if you like to bring your own boat. We have complimentary lake and fishing maps and over 30 years of guidance. Close by there are 5 golf courses , horseback riding. 30 minutes away is the town of North Bay. Guest access Tom Rae Lodge has 6 private lake front cottages on over 17 acres. All common areas of the resort are for guests to enjoy. The games room is open from morning to midnight.Pool area hours are from 11 am to 8 pm. Ontario safety and health regulations. Guests can use all water toys at any time, please return them to the area of pick up for others to enjoy. At the main office there is a small store and tackle shop. We have complimentary lake maps and fishing maps. Lots of friendly guidance so you are safe on the lake. Pretty good fishing knowledge too. Plenty of fun fishing adventures can be had off of all the docks through out the resort. There is bait for sale at the office. We accept credit and cash. Couple of minutes away is the LCBO and beer store. No Pets please. Pool area open July to mid September per weather conditions. Other things to note Please bring your personal towels and toiletries , sheets and blankets. All cottages have charcoal BBQ,s and propane. Charcoal and lighter fluid can be purchased at the store. camp firewood can be purchased at the store as well. Tax on fishing boat rentals of 13% HST.
