Lovely Private Guest Suite in Historic House

Enjoy a quiet respite in this private guest suite in a historic home dripping with character. The bedroom with en-suite bathroom adjoins the house’s dining room and kitchen but is the only sleeping room on the main floor. (Our bedrooms are upstairs) Enjoy a great nights sleep in a comfy queen bed bedecked in super soft sheets with 4 pillows. A private mini fridge, freezer and micorowave make it easy to snack on your own schedule. And a personal Kuerig means quick coffee when you need it. The space Our charming Victorian is 125 years old and less than a 10 minute walk to the historic Orange Circle. We have no kids or pets so the place is typically clean and quiet. The guest room is the only bedroom on the ground floor and it has a completely private bathroom. The comfy bed always has freshly laundered sheets and pillowcases on 4 fluffy pillows. Extra blankets and a ceiling fan let you regulate your own temperature. Plush, soft towels and washcloths await you in the oversized bathroom with a giant walk-in shower. The house has a very peaceful feeling and we hope you'll enjoy your stay here. Guest access We have a keypad lock on the front door so you may come and go as early or late as you like. You can lock the door once you're inside the bedroom, but there is not a lock on the outside of the bedroom door (like most normal houses. This is a home, not a hotel chain). We will never enter the guest suite during your stay unless you request us to. We request that you do not go upstairs into our private rooms. During your stay We live here and work from home, so we'll usually be available in person for questions or needs. You can always text us in the app. Other things to note Check in time, any time after 3PM Check out time, by 11AM. Coffee, tea, cocoa, and water are provided in the guest room. Breakfast is not included in this listing. The kitchen is not open for guests to use. The guest room locks from the inside, but does not have an outside lock (like a normal house door. This is a home, not a hotel chain) Guests may park on the street in front of the house or anywhere in the neighborhood. Please be advised that the street sweeper cleans on Tuesday mornings between 7:30-8:30am. Guests will be allowed to park in the driveway on Monday nights but are asked to move their cars back onto the street at 8:30am. Failure to be off the street results in a $65 parking ticket.
