Great home in Yakima's Barge-Chestnut Neighborhood. Perfect for large groups, business travelers, wedding groups, wine tasting trips, all while overlooking Franklin Park. We have a brand new remodeled kitchen, access to a pool shared with one other home. With four bedrooms, two bathrooms and is fully furnished, you will have a great time. Go for a nice walk or take the kids down to the park. Just three minutes from Starbucks five minutes from C. Yakima. FYI: parties and events are not allowed. We just finished our remodel on the home in May of 2017. The kitchen is fully furnished and new. There are three average sized rooms each upstairs with one queen sized bed. Downstairs is a bunk-bed in the fourth room with a common area with a futon that coverts to a bed. There is also a laundry washer and dryer. The house has a very large pool (42' X 20') with diving board and deep end that goes to 8' deep. Pool season is April 1st to October 15th. Dogs are more than welcome in the house but we have three requirements: Please take them across the street to do their business and pick up after them. Second, please keep them off all furniture. Third, please don't let them run around off leash in the back patio area as we have had problems with dogs getting into our landscaped area and we work really hard to keep it nice. There is a fee for dogs of $10/night for a single dog or $15 for two or more. Once you book, we will send you a request for the dog charge as Airbnb does not have a special place for this without having a security deposit. We also have brand new pool lounge chairs, table, an outdoor fireplace, and a large shade to keep yourself cool. Plans for 2021, we are installing a hot-tub. You will access to the whole house and garage (great for bikers). I live next door to the Air B&B house so we give you lots of room but are available if we are in town. In June through August, we frequent the pool regularly when our guests are not there as this is the reason we bought the house in the first place. We give you space when you are hanging by the pool. Franklin Park and the Barge/Chestnut Historical District is one of the best if not "the best" in Yakima. Any night, there are lot of people walking up and down Chestnut Ave. walking dogs. It is also a very safe area of town because of the amount of neighborhood interaction that takes place (unlike other parts of Yakima). On weekends, you will usually see events or concerts at the park. Yakima "finally" got Uber! We have built a pathway from our house to the house and there is a privacy fence for both the renters as well as our swimmers. The house has its own separate back patio then there is a common area at the pool which also has a fiver-burner propane barbecue if you want to cook outside as well as inside. You will sometimes see my kids playing in the pool but only during daylight hours on days we do not have school. There is a white vinyl fence so we don't look inside the home giving you privacy when we are using the pool and vice-versa. We do have a few personal belonging store at the house in the garage and storage room. We do not access them frequently but will occasionally need to access the house (more common on days we coach track and cross-country because our implements are in our storage area).
