Other things to note Howela Trust Luxury Holiday Home –Terms and Conditions The person negotiating a booking (THE LESEE) will be required to sign a Rental agreement the conditions thereof are summarised here: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, 1) The property shall not be used by more than the number of adults and children listed in your reservation. The maximum number of guests we allow is 16, but to be comfortably accommodated, 12 Adults & 4 kids 2) No noise is tolerated during the day or night which may disturb our neighbours nor behaviour which upset our neighbours. This means that we can not accept anticipated noisy functions. 3) Small Pets are permitted . large dogs by request. 4) Smoking is ONLY permitted out on the lawn. 5) There will be a “Behavioural & Breakage Deposit” to be paid which depends on the nature of your booking which will be refunded within 14 days of you vacating the property. Please email us your banking details AFTER your stay. 6) The Lessee must undertake to leave the premises in the same condition in which it was received 7) The house is fully serviced daily which includes making beds, cleaning floors bathrooms, kitchen and washing of dishes. The braais are cleaned as used. 8) The house keepers are paid to work for 6 hours – After hour rates for additional services like Laundry and babysitting is to be negotiated with them. Tips are always appreciated. 9) Please note that bath towels and linen are included in your stay. Bath towels will be changed every third day and linen once a week. Any extra linen cleaned will be charged to the guest and taken off the deposit. Any damage to bedding,mattresses or beds will be charged to the guests Guests to provide their own swimming towels. There are swimming towels for overseas guests at an extra R50 per towel. 10) Arrival time is 15H00 and Departure time 10H00 Except Sundays (if no guests coming in) Then 3pm. Early check-in or late checkout may be available depending on other bookings: additional charges may apply. 11) Parking is for four to 6 cars. 12) Wi-Fi is available most of the time 13) For safety and security the exterior of the house is monitored by real-time video surveillance when alarmed by the guests. 14) Please note that there is no security fence surrounding the pool which makes the property extremely dangerous and not suitable for young children who cannot swim and also note that the deck surrounding the pool is elevated above the ground with no rails so due care needs to be taken and the pool rules adhered to.. 15) Limitation of Liability. The HOWELA TRUST , NOR ITS AFFILIATES, TRUSTEES, EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS SHALL IN NO CASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL , SPECIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES FOR DEATH, PERSONAL OR BODILY INJURY, EMOTIONAL DISRESS, OR DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR STAY AT THE PROPERTY. 16) The Landlord cannot be held responsible for the loss of private belonging and or cash which may be stolen or misplaced.
